About Assist with Food Distribution-Monthly

Pearl Street Community Development Corporation, Inc., a nonprofit organization in partnership with USDA and Mississippi Food Network, is seeking volunteers to help pack boxes of food. The boxes of food will be given to income eligible families and individuals in need of food assistance. Volunteers are needed to 1.)tape boxes together 2.)pack the boxes with food 3.) assist individuals, taking boxes to vehicles (if needed and you can). Volunteers will be needed for approximately two days per month, four (4) hours per day. Day one(1) for boxing food and day two(2) to help distribute the food.

There will be a short orientation/training period. Anyone can volunteer to assist with this community service outreach.
