About Foster Homes

Fostering is a rewarding experience if you are able to care for any of our dogs in your home. Pause for Paws provides food, monthly heartworm/flea preventative, and medical care. You provide the daily care, love, exercise, and socialization.

We ask that foster parents be able to bring in and pick up their foster dog for vet appointments and adoption events until their dog is adopted. Foster parents are welcome to participate in as much, or as little, on top of that as they wish to.

We are always in desperate need of foster homes. Since Pause for Paws is a foster-based rescue organization, we can only accept dogs into our program if a foster home is available. So, the more foster homes we have available – the more street dogs will be saved!
