About Youth for P3 Community Quinceañer@

Youth for Partnership for a Positive Pomona (Y4P3) is the youth action council of Partnership for a Positive Pomona, our drug free community coalition. Y4P3 is made up of high schoolers from across Pomona who work to make Pomona a healthier, safer community for all. Y4P3 plans and executes events and campaigns that dispel myths about youth substance use and raise awareness about living drug and alcohol free in our community.

This year, we are raising awareness around underage drinking in a really fun way—through an alcohol-free Quinceañer@ party! Studies show that alcohol is the most used substance by youth in Pomona and that most youth in Pomona obtain their alcohol from adults over the age of 21. The Community Quinceañer@ aims to raise awareness about underage drinking while celebrating our cultural traditions and confirming that it IS possible to have an awesome party without the dangers of underage drinking.

Y4P3 will select on Pomona youth who would not otherwise have a Quinceañer@ - and will sponsor their party! The selected youth must meet all eligibility requirements and will work closely with Y4P3 to plan for their big day!

That's where you come in... We are looking for volunteers to help with logistics and event planning for our Quinceañer@ the week of April 25 - May 1 to help with the following:
