About Daffodil Planting

Dc74771795f985daa39b32e13e5a97b3b615c67d

OPC Outdoors' partners, the US Army Corps of Engineers at Sardis Lake, are looking for volunteers to help plant Daffodil bulbs. It involves some work, but it is always a good experience for folks to be able to come back and see how their work paid off in the spring.

Weekends they are available for planting:
November: 9, 10, 24
December: 7, 8
Time should be coordinated with Shae Staten

This activity works great with adults making the holes and youth placing the bulbs into the ground.

What you'll need to bring:
-Gloves
-Clothes and shoes you don't mind getting muddy
-Water
-Snacks you may want

If you are interested or have any questions please contact USACOE Ranger, Shea Staten, at Robert.S.Staten@usace.army.mil

Family-Friendly

Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.
