About Medical volunteers in Ghana

Are you a pre-nursing, nursing, pre-med, medicine, midwifery, paramedic, dentistry student or a professional? Do you want to volunteer in hospitals in Africa? Then apply online to take part in this exciting and life changing project in Ghana to meet other nationals from other parts of the world.

The volunteer position provides hands-on practical exposure to medicine and health care in Hospitals and Clinics in Ghana. As a volunteer you will have the chance to observe and work in various departments alongside experienced local doctors and nurses. You will have the opportunity to learn about various tropical conditions and treatments.

You will also take part in school and community outreach to do wound dressing and give talk on basic but important health education such tooth brushing, adolescent Reproductive Health education, assist in counselling etc

Participants pay project fee depending how long they staying. The fee is used to cover participants accommodation, food (breakfast,Snacks, Dinner). The amount also covers all utilities, insurance cover against personal accident, placement fees, airport pick ups and drop off.

Some of the fee also funds our medical outreach, providing foods for donation in orphanages, organising dirty days(community painting) and provides health insurance for 10 needy people (mostly women and children) etc. Payment are done on arrival in Ghana.
