About Care work in Ghana

Our care placements are a chance for volunteers of all ages and experience levels to really make a difference to children who may otherwise have little or no mental stimulation in their lives. People are often unaware of the impact they can have on another person's life, with even the smallest gesture. Volunteers get to work with children in orphanage and day care centres in Koforidua.
You need to be ready for a challenge. Many of the children are desperate for attention and there will undoubtedly be children present who have health problems and who need special attention due to disabilities. Any extra interests or skills that you have can be put to good use, so please let us know about them when you apply.
Participants of our care work pay project fee depending how long they staying. The fee is used to cover participants accommodation, food (breakfast,Snacks, Dinner). The amount also covers all utilities, insurance cover against personal accident, placement fees, airport pick ups and drop off.

Some of the fee also funds our medical outreach, providing foods for donation in orphanages, organising dirty days(community painting) and provides health insurance for 10 needy people (mostly women and children) etc. Payment are done on arrival in Ghana.
