About Auditions for ‘Oregon Trail: The Play!’

Over Our Head Players will hold open auditions for ‘Oregon Trail: The Play!’, the fast-paced comedy by A.J. Allegra. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, March 27th, at 7:00 p.m. at the Sixth Street Theatre, located at 318 Sixth Street, Racine, WI.

‘Oregon Trail: The Play!’ synopsis: Following the Bootsmeyer family as they make their troubled journey westward, this irreverent comedy skewers the educational video game of the 80s and 90s while paying homage to American Westerns, dysfunctional families and cross-country road trips.

Roles are available for nine (9) male and female actors (age range 18 – 80). Performances run three weekends, May 18th-June 2nd (this show closes on a Saturday night) at Sixth Street Theatre, Downtown Racine.

Auditions involve cold readings from the script; prepared pieces are not necessary. No previous theatrical experience is necessary to audition; just come with an upbeat attitude and have a love of performing.
