About Springfield 4th of July Parade
OLT participates in the annual parade every year. Kick off your July 4th celebration by being involved in this historic event with us! We proudly hand out 1,000 native tree seedlings to spectators, requiring many helping hands. Tasks include: wrapping trees on July 2nd and 3rd, decorating OLT's float and wheel barrows the morning of the parade, and walking with us during the parade! On the 4th, volunteers will wield wheel barrows full of seedlings, hand the trees out, or hold our banner in front.
Application Process
Information about our 4th of July volunteer opportunities will come out in early June. Be sure to keep July 2nd, 3rd, and/or 4th open if you would like to help!
