About Blueway Trail Blazer
Otsego Land Trust owns and stewards seven public access sites open for hiking, fishing, paddling, and connecting with nature. Collectively, they are known as The Blueway. These sites require routine work and stewardship to maintain healthy and viable habitats and safe public access to outdoor recreation and nature education. Join a group of your neighbors, friends, and other community members to do trail maintenance projects. Tasks include: cutting back vegetation along trails, posting OLT property boundaries, improving wet sections of trails, and eradicating invasive species.
Application Process
Otsego Land Trust will call upon these volunteers when needed. These opportunities will fall between April and October on our various properties. Tools and expertise will be provided, just come ready to have fun and work!
