About Mayor Buddy’s Book Club

By encouraging leisure time reading and creative expression, this initiative is improving literacy in our community by making reading fun.
- Volunteers host book clubs at city community centers, participating libraries and middle schools
- Volunteers can plan and facilitate engaging End of Book Parties hosted at the Orlando Public Library.
- Volunteers recruit new members and volunteers to participate at community functions

Application Process

Volunteers must attend a one hour training session and pass a background check.
