About Thanksgiving Dinner 2019

The holidays are the season to be grateful for what you have and to think about giving back to others. In the spirit of giving, we are looking for well-meaning people to help us serve about 300 plates of food during our traditional Thanksgiving Dinner hosted at the Men's Resource Center.

Your gift of time will allow us to prepare the food, do the setup, serve the meal, and leave the shelter sparkly clean for those spending the night.

The duties are broken down into two-hour shifts and this volunteering experience can be ideal for corporate employees, families, and well-meaning individuals trying to give back to the community.

Application Process

Volunteers can register online and on-site the day of the event. No background check is needed. The event is family-friendly and children are welcome.
