About Food Share Committe

The Opportunity Center for the Homeless relies on the dedicated involvement of volunteers to succeed in its mission. An integral part of the services we provide to your homeless neighbors is offering them 3 meals a day. We are always looking for volunteers to either cook, bring food, or serve those meals. In the men's shelter, we serve an average of 120 people during the summer and up to 170 in winter months. In the women's resource center we serve around 40 individuals on a daily basis and up to 70 during winter.
