About Head Start Policy Council

Policy Council is an advisory council for Opportunities, Inc. Head Start. Through Policy Council, parents are given the opportunity to participate in decisions that are made at Head Start about the program. Members are voted on in the October Parent Meeting and serve a one-year term. Members attend a monthly meeting that is held on the third Wednesday of each month and last for about an hour.

Application Process

If you would like to volunteer you can just give us a call and we can get something set up with an application and a short Volunteer Training.

We highly encourage parents to come and get in involved in any volunteer opportunities.
