About Active Recess Volunteers

Volunteers needed to help in 4 Battle Creek Schools and 4 Lakeview Schools - Simple and Fun Exercise for Everyone!

Operation Fit needs you to play! Spend lunchtime on the playground like you did when you were a kid. Help children have an active recess full of movement, fun and games. We teach you everything you need to know. Whether you are available 1 or 5 days a week, 30 - 90 minutes, you can make a difference. (Lunch times vary slightly per school.) You can choose which school you would like to play at, or we can place you where we have a need.

We are currently in 8 schools in Calhoun County:

Prairieview Elementary
Riverside Elementary
Westlake Elementary
Dudley Elementary
LaMora Park Elementary

Application Process

Contact us by email or phone. We will set up a time for us to go over this amazing opportunity and fill out some paperwork. Make sure you bring your driver's license or state id. Then we will set up a time for you to meet with our school coordinator so she can show you where to go and what to do.
