About Be a companion to an LGBT Senior

Openhouse Friendly Visitor Program
This program matches trained volunteers with LGBT seniors in their homes. This can prevent further isolation, depression and other age-related issues.
Caring Connections matches trained volunteers of all ages with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender older adults 60+ who enjoy taking walks, meeting for coffee, exchanging stories and sharing a few laughs together!
Participants in the program can count on these exceptionally trained volunteers who are supported by professional staff to provide regular companionship, emotional support and practical assistance to promote healthy independence and connection to the community!
Our next Friendly Visitor volunteer training is Saturday, February 21st, at 9:00 a.m., and space is limited! For more information about the Friendly Visitor Program, please contact Suzi 415-231-5870 or [email protected]. Thanks so much!
