About Vince Klein "Run Like a Superhero" Memorial 5K

The 6th Annual Vince Klein Run like a Superhero Memorial 5K will happen on on September 24, 2022 at the New Albany Amphitheater. This year we will be celebrating the life of a superhero for children and the 40th anniversary of the agency he helped create in 1982, Open Door Youth Services.

For 40 years this August, Open Door has served as Floyd County's only organization providing emergency shelter care and residential treatment for children. We pride ourselves on continuing Vince Klein’s commitment to serving youth in our community. This 5K celebrates his heroism in doing everything he could when he saw children who needed help.
