This Yoga in the Park Fundraiser event welcomes yoga teacher Keyonda McQuarters who will guide us in a yoga practice to support Om Thrive.
Keyonda is a local yoga and pilates instructor area as well as the head of the Portland chapter of Black Girls Do Bike, a national network of group rides and Facebook forums for black women cyclists.
This is a donation-based fundraiser. Please support this work by purchasing a ticket via the eventbrite link at whatever price you can afford. Can't afford anything? About the Event:
Location: Irving Park
We will gather at 10am, so that we have time to greet each other and set our mats up in at a safe distance! At 10:30 am, there will will be a brief talk about Om Thrive and why it is important to support this work. Then, Keyonda will guide us in yoga practice from 10:45-11:45 am, with the opportunity to snack and schmooze afterwards, if you'd like.
About Community Safety:
Masks ARE required, *except when you are on your mat. Mats will be placed six feet apart. This is how we keep ourselves and our each other safe. This is community care.
