About Help With Animals
The Oktibbeha County Humane Society (OCHS) is always in need of volunteers to serve at our Starkville Animal Shelter helping us with shelter animals. Volunteers may socialize the animals (walk the dogs and play with the cats) as well as help with our other everyday tasks including washing dishes and washing/folding towels.
Volunteers are welcome to volunteer during our normal business hours as listed below:
Tuesday – Saturday: 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM
*All volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the volunteer orientation and while volunteering at the shelter.
For more information, please contact OCHS's Volunteer Coordinator Sherrie Wiygul by email at [email protected] or by phone at (662) 773-2956.
