About D.E.A.R. Day 2016
In April 2016, the Oklahoma City Literacy Coalition, will host 200 second graders to D.E.A.R. Day (Drop Everything And Read Day) at the Oklahoma State Capitol. We need volunteers to help unload books, set-up in the rotunda, facilitate reading times with kids and state legislators, distribute books, and clean-up. If you would like to share your video and photography skills, we can use those too!
The date has not been announced, but it will likely be one day during the week of April 11-14, 2016.
D.E.A.R. Day is a collaboration with Oklahoma City Public Schools and Feed the Children.
