About Park Ranger Volunteers
Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge is seeking volunteers to assist in providing customer service at the visitor center by staffing the center’s front desk, answering visitor questions, performing light cleaning duties, and helping with the recreation fee program.
Visitor Center hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10AM - 4PM, with preferable 2-4 hour volunteer shifts. All volunteers are encouraged to have a positive attitude, patient disposition, and be willing to volunteer regularly (1 shift/week) after orientation. Participants must also be willing to have a federal background check performed, depending on level of involvement.
