2020 Refuge Day
Hosted by: Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge
About 2020 Refuge Day
Celebrate National Public Lands Day by joining us for the 2019 Noxubee Refuge Day!
We need hands to assist us with the canoe station (unloading from trailer, helping people get fitted with gear and getting out on the water, and loading back onto trailer), event set up (setting up tents, unloading cars, etc), event operations (manning stations, passing out stickers, etc), and equipment take down (packing up tents, tables, chairs, etc). All volunteers are welcome to explore the stations and refuge around their volunteer shift!
This event is usually a fun way to explore the refuge, meet new people in the community, and learn more about our wild things in Mississippi!
Application Process
Individuals and group volunteers welcome; however, all volunteers need to have on file a signed volunteer agreement which can be completed on site the day of the event. If wanting to volunteer and under the age of 18, you MUST have a parent present to sign your volunteer agreement form.
