About Dietitian Assistant

Do you have an interest in nutrition or dietetics? Come assist our dietitian in food service direction. Your work will include visiting residents for food preferences and observing care conferences.

Please note that though Northwind's capacity to utilize Dietitian Assistants fluctuates, our need for Friendly Visitors is constant. Please be willing to fill the role of Friendly Visitor as needed.

We are seeking volunteers with a desire to help others, basic computer skills and basic knowledge of nutrition. We will work around your schedule!

Application Process

For the safety of our residents, we require that volunteers complete a TB Test before becoming involved. MSU students can find resources for obtaining a TB Test at low cost here: http://tinyurl.com/ny3mun4

After you have your TB test results, contact Toka Cummings to discuss opportunities, availability and additional clearances.
