About Help Low-income Families Get Dental Help: Be an Intake Screener

The Dental Link Intake Screener helps low-income, uninsured clients complete forms, screens them for eligibility and sets appointments for them to get low to moderate cost dental care.

Duties Include:
•Help Dental Link Coordinator lead 60-minute group intake session that walks clients through filling out forms by signing in clients, distributing paperwork, and assisting those needing additional help during the presentation.
•Meet one-on-one with clients after the group session to review their forms and required documents.
•Usinig written guidelines, screen the completed form and documentation to determine if the client is eligible.

Volunteers must be 18 years old and be available at least one session per month (1st Tuesday or 4th Thursday of the month). Conversational Spanish a plus. Be detail-oriented, able to carefully to follow instructions and patient.
