About Celebrate our 50th Anniversary with us - Virtually!

Are you just hearing about the Northeast Pennsylvania Audubon Society and wishing you learned about us sooner? Well, you're in luck! This year, we're celebrating our 50th Anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, we're hosting a virtual 50 Birds in 50 Days for 50 Years celebration on social media.

Each day, we'll be posting fun and interesting facts about 50 species of birds. We'll also be taking a step back through time, highlighting the achievements, success stories, progress and projects of our chapter since its inception. And that's not all!!! We'll also be sharing ways that you can help the environment, get involved with conservation in your own backyard, and fun DIY activities and projects for the whole family to enjoy.

We'll be talking about our scholarship programs and their importance, our plans to enhance the recreational experience at Browning Beaver Meadow, one of two sanctuaries owned by NEPAS, and our vision for the near and distant future - looking towards another 50 years of advocacy, programs, and education for our natural world.
