About NH Highland Games & Festival

The largest cultural event in NH welcomes more than 27,000 each year from across the United States and Canada. With competitions in highland dance, piping, drumming, fiddle, harp, sheep dog and heavy athletics there is something for everyone. The pageantry of the massed bands, music, food, youth program, shopping for goods from "across the pond" and the unforgettable sound of the bagpipes in the highlands of NH make this family friendly event something not to be missed. More than 200 volunteers are key to the success of the event before, during and after the three days of the Games in September.

Merchandise Packing

August 22, 2016 10:00am – September 9, 2016 3:00pm

This task is filled or completed

Help us price, tag and pack merchandise that is to be sold at the event. This will take place at the NHHG&F offices in Concord and you can choose hours to fit your schedule.

Runners

September 15, 2016 8:00am – September 18, 2016 4:00pm

This task is filled or completed

Runners needed to transport messages and light articles between areas of the Games. Ability to walk or perhaps drive a golf cart are the skills needed along with being oriented to the various locations of the event.

Hospitality

September 16, 2016 8:00am – September 18, 2016 3:00pm

This task is filled or completed

Meet and greet our membership, provide assistance and hospitality in the member areas. Personable, friendly and willing to help are key to the success of these volunteers.

Retail Sales

September 16, 2016 8:00am – September 19, 2016 5:00pm

This task is filled or completed

Volunteers needed to help sell merchandise during any of the three days of the event. Shifts are typically three hours.

Ticket takers/checkers

September 16, 2016 8:00am – September 19, 2016 4:00pm

This task is filled or completed

We need friendly people to check per-sold tickets as people enter the grounds. Ability to stand and be friendly are key to this position.
