About Us

Founded in 1986, NH Children’s Trust, Prevent Child Abuse America chapter, envisions a state where every child thrives in safe, stable, and nurturing families and communities. Our mission is to lead NH’s drive to eliminate child abuse and neglect. We coordinate the implementation of universal and secondary prevention strategies. We educate the public, funders, and policy makers about the scope, impact and solutions. We are the 2015 winner of the NH Charitable Foundation Excellence in Nonprofit Management Award.

Our focus is on prenatal to age three, with intent to reach children and families early for a lifelong impact. We depend on community support to strengthen communities and build resilient families and keep children safe.
