About Academic Mentor/Tutor
Much more than an after-school program, Neighborhood Homework House is a learning center that brings hope and encouragement to kids in Azusa. How? By providing a welcoming, safe haven where children are encouraged to reach for their dreams and equipped with the tools they need to achieve them. We accomplish this by offering one on one tutoring, enrichment activities, and building mentor relationships. For kids grades Kinder-12th grade we are looking for tutors to provide one on one homework assistance for 1.5 to 3 hours a week. Volunteers choose tutoring session based on their availabiliy and desired age range.
