Help people in need in Boise, Idaho and surrounding

Needs Met has helping those in need for 10 years. We are registered as a 501c3 non-profit, so all gifts are fully tax deductible.

Needs Met helps people with

• Food - We usually refer people to a local food pantry. In emergencies, we can supply food from a donated supply.
  
• Clothing - We usually refer to clothing closets in the area. In emergencies, we can supply clothes from a donated supply.
  
• Jobs - We usually refer to the local employment office or refer to any current job openings that we have on file.
  
• Resume writing assistance - In many cases, people looking for jobs do not have a good resume. We offer assistance writing a resume, or updating one that needs a face lift.
  
• Emergency Gas assistance - It typically takes from 2 to 4 weeks after starting a new job before getting the first paycheck. Many times when someone has been out of work for a while, they cannot afford to put gas in their car or truck so they can get to and from work during this period of waiting for their paycheck. Once approved, we meet people at the pump, fill their gas tank with gas and send them on their way.
