About Legal Team
The legal team does an assessment to find out what the veteran legal needs are. The volunteer needs to do an intake on the veteran. Also the volunteer has to request their DD214 and inform them about their membership fee. The $25 membership helps NVCLR with the overhead of the organization. NVCLR services are free. After the veteran pays their membership fee a membership card is issued to the them. Afterwards, they are sent to the legal specialists, the specialists will make the final assessment.
