About Meet the Blind 2016 Assistance

The National Federation of the Blind has designated the month of October as Meet the Blind Month. It is our nationwide campaign to increase awareness of, and support for, the NFB. This person-to-person campaign is designed to educate the public about the NFB as the country's leading resource on living well with blindness and innovative education and rehabilitation for the blind.

The local NFB chapter will be holding its annual Meet the Blind information fair on October 18, from nine to noon, at the Starkville Sportsplex. It needs volunteers to help set up (8-9) and take down (12-1) the event.
