About Happy Hour at The River Club Boise

We are a community-based, non-profit 501(c)3 organization comprised of volunteers dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of women battling cancer in and around the Treasure Valley. We do so by providing approved applicants with a no-cost bedroom makeover thus affording them with an inviting safe and therapeutic environment where they can thrive and heal.

Our team of volunteers works closely with each bedroom makeover recipient. The room is designed and personalized within the family’s home. We fill this space with items that are meaningful to the person with illness in a theme and colors of their choosing. We believe that everyone deserves her very own “happy haven.”

The rooms are done on a limited budget and would not be possible without the involvement and support of our generous community. We go to great lengths to provide a bedroom based on each woman’s wishes while staying within our budget.
