About Membership Volunteer

PRI and its Museum of the Earth are currently seeking volunteers to discuss new membership opportunities with members of the public.We are looking for one or several people who would be excited about educating the public about the wonderful opportunities that come with Memberships.
Essential Duties:
 Set up/take down membership tables at events (usually nights and weekends)
 Keep the table looking neat and easy to access, with plenty of information available for those who take it
 Discuss membership opportunities
 Answer questions
 Let marketing manager know when materials need to be replenished
 Attend training meetings
 Willingness to work at various locations
 Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Outgoing, friendly people who enjoy working with the public are encouraged to join. Knowledge of marketing, advertising, or other sciences are a plus, but not necessary. Must be comfortable with public speaking, working with people of all ages, and speaking persuasively.
