About Fossil Mania

Museum of the Earth event 10am - 1pm, included with admission, Celebrating Fossils. This year event will have table activities, Junior Paleontologist Packets and Fossil ID.
A presentation from 1 - 2pm, in the Museum Classroom, also included with admission, about Mesozoic ecosystems: What was life like during the Earth while Dinosaurs roamed?

Activities Docent

This task is filled or completed
Help teach about Fossils, assist with crafts such as drawing or making a fossil out of plaster of paris.
Arrive at 9:30 am and have a breakfast snack then head down to the Museum to set up and learn about your task.
This task needs a volunteer who is energetic and feels comfortable talking to people of all ages, esp. young people. We will have information for you to refer to about the activity you are assigned. Staff will be around to help as well.
Please wear dark shirts and dress for meeting the public, no shorts.
