About Education Docent
Are you interested in teaching youth about the wonderful story of the Earth? We are looking for volunteers who would be available weekdays 9:30am - noon who could teach first graders about the Earth. There will be training to accompany this program. Dates for training have not been scheduled, most likely weekdays at the above hours during January and February.

Contact the Volunteer Coordinator. You will need to have a Volunteer Orientation before training to be a docent.

KDT Docent
January 1, 2015 12:00am – June 19, 2015 12:00pm
Docent will present a 15 minute interactive program to 10 first graders 4 times in an hour. This for a visiting first grade group who have been split in 4 groups and will rotate through the Museum. Each docent will be responsible for one program that day. You will be trained to present that program, but you will need to be available to attend training in January and February. Classes start in March.
