Whether you're an expert birdwatcher or eager to learn a new skill, you are encouraged to become a Bird Sanctuary Tour Guide.

Training covers concepts such as adaptations, migration, nesting and waterfowl identification. After attending training, new guides are invited to follow experienced guides on a few tours until they are comfortable going out on their own.

Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 18 years old, enjoy working with children, and able to walk a 3/4-mile trail. Tours are typically scheduled on weekday mornings and afternoons during the school year.
