About Manor House Docent

Help us share a piece of local history with visitors from around the corner and the world by becoming a W.K. Kellogg Manor House volunteer!

Volunteers are needed to introduce Manor House visitors to the life, legacy and former summer estate of cereal magnate & philanthropist W.K. Kellogg. Volunteers must be comfortable speaking with guests. Training sessions will include learning about house construction and history, W.K. Kellogg's life and work, and tips on how to lead an enjoyable tour.

Hours: Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per year. Hours vary based upon scheduled tours and open houses; volunteers may choose times that best fit their schedules. Minimum age: 18 (Adult), 16 (Junior Docents)
