About Summer Volunteering - Child Care
MSU Safe Place relies on volunteers to implement many of our services. Volunteers are needed this summer (May-August) to assist with child care on Tuesday evenings from approximately 6:15-8:30pm, during our weekly support group.
Application Process
If you are interested in applying to volunteer, you will need to submit a volunteer application, along with times that you would be available to do a short interview (about 20-30 minutes). Applications can be submitted to Alyssa Baumann either by e-mail ([email protected]), U.S. mail, or by dropping it off at 219 Wilson Road, Room G-60, East Lansing, MI 48825 (Wilson Hall on MSU’s campus). All volunteers will also need to pass a background check and driving record check prior to the start of volunteer training. Volunteer applications are available at: http://safeplace.msu.edu/services-and-programs/volunteer-and-internship-opportunities/volunteer-opportunities-applications
