About Fall Volunteering - Children's Activities!

MSU Safe Place relies on volunteers to implement many of our services. Volunteers are needed this fall (September-December) to assist with child care on Tuesday evenings from approximately 6:15-8:15pm, during our weekly support group.

Application Process

If you are interested in applying to volunteer, you will need to submit your volunteer application and an indication of the populations that you would prefer working with (adults, children, or both). In addition, please include times that you would be available to do a short interview (about 20-30 minutes). Applications can be submitted to Alyssa Baumann either by e-mail ([email protected]) or U.S. mail at Mail Processing – MSU Safe Place, 166 Service Road, Room 113A, East Lansing, MI 48824. All volunteers will also need to pass a background check and driving record check prior to the start of volunteer training.
