About MSUFCU Dinosaur Dash 5K walk/run

This popular community and family friendly 5K run/walk event it's 29th consecutive year the morning of October 5, 2014. Proceeds help support educational programming at the MSU Museum. It attracts nearly 2500 people to MSU's historic north campus and is based in front of the Michigan State University Museum. It includes two runs, a walk, three kids runs plus other activities. The MSU Museum will be open, offering our three public floors of exhibits and displays. Volunteer shifts are normally 3-4 hours in length ranging from 7a-1p helping with such things as set-up, tear-down, kids carnival, course monitoring, refreshment tent, etc.
