About Teamworks

Los Angeles Team Mentoring's (LATM) Teamworks is an innovative mentoring program for middle school students (ages 11-13) which brings together teachers, college students, and community/business volunteers as mentoring teams. Teamworks uses an activity-based curriculum that focuses on team building, leadership skills development, and community service. The Mount has adopted Teamworks and helps fulfill their mission at Richard Merkin Middle School and Bethune Middle School. If you are interested in volunteering on behalf on the Mount, please note the information below:






Requirements:




1.Complete and submit an online application.


2.Complete and submit a one-hour online training.


3.Complete a ten-minute phone screening.


4.Attend a two-hour live training.


5.Submit TB test results.


6.Get a Live Scan (background check).


Location Details:

LATM at Richard Merkin Middle School
-Walking distance around the corner from Mount St. Mary's College Doheny Campus
-2023 S. Union Ave. Los Angeles CA 90007
-Meets on Thursdays from 3:30pm to 5:30pm

LATM at Bethune Middle School
-About a 15 minute drive from Mount St. Mary's College Doheny Campus (Shuttle service will be provided)
-155 W. 69th St. Los Angeles Ca 90003
-Meets on Mondays from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
