About Plant Trees at Loren Miller Elementary School!

MSMU will be partnering with the Koreatown Youth Community Center to participate in a big tree planting event! The event is also sponsored by City Plants and Mayor Eric Garcetti's office and will take place on Saturday March 12, 2016 from 8:30 AM - 1 PM.

Volunteers will get hands-on experience planting trees in Los Angeles, and learn how to properly plant, water, and care for a tree during the drought. Come prepared to dig holes, build tree wells, and get your hands a little dirty! Volunteers should wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes to this event.

Lastly, we encourage friends and family of the Mount to get involved! Please note, however, that children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or supervising adult.

Application Process

Sign up here OR by calling Kim Terrill at 213-477-2662. Please indicate below whether you would like to take a MSMU shuttle from Doheny or Chalon.
Chalon shuttle will depart at 7:45 AM from the Circle. Doheny shuttle will depart at 8:15 AM from the Shuttle Stop in the AAA lot.
