Mercy Housing Seeks Tutors!

About Mercy Housing Seeks Tutors!

Mercy Housing seeks volunteers to help tutor students who want to improve in school! Mercy Housing provides affordable housing and supportive services for low income families, seniors and people with special needs. Since a lot of the youth in the Mercy Housing properties have experienced long periods of homelessness and foster care before becoming residents with their parents, they have fallen behind in their schooling. These students have demonstrated that they like school but don’t like that they are not at the levels of their classmates.
