About Jumpstart Read for the Record

PLEDGE TO READ
"Jumpstart's Read for the Record campaign mobilizes millions of people to celebrate literacy by participating in the largest shared reading experience." -Jumpstart Join them pledging on the website below to read to children the book on Bunny Cakes by Rosemary Wells on October 21st. You can read the book to any child, anywhere! School, public library, or at home.

PHOTO CONTEST
In addition to reading, there is a Bunny Cakes photo contest! To enter, take a picture of you and your friends or family members holding up bunny ears and share it with the Jump Start Pinterest board. (See website below) The winner will win a prize pack! (See prize pack below).

STEPS FOR CONTEST
Step 1: Recreate the scene from Bunny Cakes below - Gather your friends, Corps members, and get creative! Add costumes, props, and other items to make your photo pop.

Step 2: Email your image to [email protected].

Step 3: Check out all of the photos on Pinterest & share your photo with your social media networks.

Winner: The image with the most likes on our Pinterest board by 5:00 pm ET on October 13th will receive a Read for the Record prize pack! If there is a tie, the Jumpstart national development team will select a winner.
