About ECHO

ECHO's vision is to empower youth living in poverty stricken neighborhoods to be able to express themselves in the arts, attend higher education, and to be politically conscious and engaged members of their communities.

Interns/Volunteers can do a number of things! If any of the following descriptions catch your attention or if you feel they are applicable, please contact Alex!
-Have a background in working with children (ages 1-13)-people who can lead discussion on racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, etc.
-Students that can help high school aged youth in applying to college
-Folks that can do web-design
-Folks who can do grant-writing
-Folks who want to work in a fun environment with adolescents who have very limited resources in the neighborhoods they live in and schools that they attend.

1) 501 S Bixel St. Los Angeles, CA 90017 (Monday-Thursday)
2) 1801 E 53rd St Vernon, CA 90058 (Friday)
