About Investing in our Future Leaders (home work help)

Mookie's Place After School Programs (ages 4-16) needs your help with home assistance from 2pm to 4pm. Volunteers will help After School Program participants in reading and math in a one-on-one or small group setting. Focus will be on providing students with support and strategies to become independent learners and thinkers. Time commitment: Depends on department. Please contact the volunteer coordinator for more information.

Application Process

olunteering at Mookie's Place is an excellent opportunity to learn more about our programs, meet and form relationships with our youth, and help us reduce our budget by providing assistance where we need it most.

Individual volunteer opportunities are available throughout the week—during the day and evening—and include tutoring teens in our job training program, assisting with administrative and clerical work in our development office, and serving as an aide in an elementary classroom.
