About Volunteer Opportunities!

Mitzvah Circle hosts corporate volunteers, individuals, and families, Monday through Friday from 9:30am-11:30am and 12:30pm-2:30pm, on Sundays 10:00am-12:00pm and 12:00pm-2:00pm, and evenings by appointment. No specific skills are needed to volunteer at Mitzvah Circle. In brief, we familiarize our corporate volunteers with our sorting and packing process, and ultimately the volunteers prepare care packages for families in need. In each box, the volunteer writes a note to the recipient with a caring message, creating hope and restoring dignity, which can be as impactful as the rest of the items contained in the package. As one recipient, Anita, wrote, “You have helped my family so much! On some of my worst days, when everything was completely wrong, a box would be on my porch with wonderful things for my family, and always a handwritten note that made me feel empowered and cared about.” Mitzvah Circle’s services have an enormous, immediate impact on our recipients, allowing them the opportunity to breathe, address their crisis, and start to get back on their feet.
