About Learn to Be an Environmental/Wildlife Educator
When Petra May first joined Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation, Inc., she thought all she would be doing was raising wild babies! She soon became an educator, handling our education barn owl and screech owl. She now helps MWR educate at schools, festivals, on the phone and when caring people bring her wild babies to care for. You see, wildlife rehabilitation and education go together. If you love wildlife and you would like to learn to teach others about wildlife and the environment in which we live, please give us a call!
MWR educators will train you! Federal regulations dictate a person must be 18 years of age or older to work with birds of prey. You must have transportation.
