Tournament Volunteer
Volunteer at golf tournaments across the state with tasks such as starting, collecting scores to be posted online, ball spotting, pace of play, etc. If you have a passion for the game, you'll enjoy this opportunity!

LiveScoring Volunteer
We often need assistance with collecting scores as golfers are playing. These scores are input into a computer program so that parents and friends watching from home can follow golfers as they play.
Course Rating Volunteer
The Mississippi Golf Association is responsible for updating the USGA Course and Slope Rating for golf courses statewide. We rely on volunteers to complete this task once trained. Volunteers will rate courses in their region of the state with occasional travel to nearby courses.
Rules Official
Do you have an interest in the Rules of Golf? The Mississippi Golf Association has many opportunities to get involved as a Rules Official at a Junior Championship or State Championship. Let us know your interest and we will explain how to get involved.
