About Museum Docent

Docents convey the objectives, goals and message of the museum to the public. They serve as museum teachers in relating the collections to the visitors. Docents assist in the presentation of programs and activities and present those to the museum visitor.

This person should attend the Volunteer Orientation Session and receive specific training on museum collections, programs and activities.
