About Lansing Maker Faire -- 1 or 2-Day Event Volunteers Needed!

2017 is the FIRST ever Maker Faire in the Lansing Area. Lansing Maker Faire is all about being a "Family of Makers" featuring exhibits, show and tell, a fashion show, 3D Printing, Laser Cutting Art and so much for a family-friendly experience.

Lansing Maker Faire is expected to draw over 5000 people to see a wide variety of maker exhibits, workshops, and engage in other cool presentations. The logistics required for this event are challenging, so we are seeking passionate volunteers who embrace the spirit of Maker Faire and the creativity and resourcefulness that it represents.
If you are interested in volunteering to help make the FIRST ever Lansing Maker Faire a huge success, let us know! We are seeking volunteers to assist with event set-up and tear-down, registration and wayfinding, assisting makers/exhibitors, and manning maker activity stations.

Application Process

Just submit a brief application form here: http://lansing.makerfaire.com/volunteer/ Volunteers ages 16+ welcome. Those below the age of 16 are more than welcome provided they are accompanied by an adult guardian or chaperone.
